Prem Ramaswami Head of Product, Sidewalk Labs, Inc
Overview
Prem Ramaswami is currently Head of Product at Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company focused on increasing the sustainability and affordability of cities. In the early days of COVID, Prem worked closely with Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Health Map to bring together a group of tech company volunteers to launch CovidNearYou.org, a crowd-sourced surveillance app. Previously, Prem led Google Search's efforts around Social Impact including Health, Civics, Education, Crisis Response, and Social Good. While he was at Google, Prem helped develop and attended the first cohort of HMS's Executive Education program for Google.
About the Presenter
Prem graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Computer & Biomedical Engineering (‘04). He also has an MBA from Harvard Business School (‘13), where he developed and taught an introductory course on Product Management, which he now teaches at Stanford University. He most recently completed an executive medical training at Harvard Medical School. Prem serves on the advisory board of RoosterBio, an early stage stem cell venture, and was an advisor to Partners In Health, a global health non-profit.
